Top 3 Series: Lipsticks

MyTop 3 Series is back, this time with Lipsticks. Choosing only 3 lipsticks was really hard.  I really emphasized the formula but these are also my favourite shades from each specific lipstick line. You'll notice I clearly lean towards more rosy colours.

Maybelline Matte Lipstick in Touch of Spice

I always get compliments whenever I wear this lipstick. I really believe these are the best matte lipsticks at the drugstore and are good enough to rival any high-end matte lipstick. They are super comfortable, opaque and creamy. However, due to their creaminess they don't last as long as other matte lipsticks.

NYX Butter Lipstick in Pops

This is my favourite everyday lipstick. I'd describe it as halfway between a creamy lipstick and a lip balm. It feels really nourishing on the lips but it takes a few swipes to build up the colour. It's so comfortable, it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything on your lips. It's also drugstore so you know the price tag is reasonable. Plus they smell so yummy!

Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Slow Burn

Last but certainly not least. I know I've raved about the formula of these a lot recently but it's really that good. It is super opaque with just one swipe, it's super long lasting and very comfortable. I don't have a bad thing to say about it except for the steep price tag, however I think it's worth the money.

I'm bringing back my Top 3 Series this time with Bronzer. This is my third post in my top three series so if you want, you can check out my Top 3 Highlighters and Top 3 Blushes.

Nars Laguna 

I'm going to start off strong and say that this is my favourite bronzer of all time. This should be obvious by the fact that I've hit pan. It's a gorgeous, luminous bronzer that leaves me so sun-kissed. It's not too orange or shimmery, it's really just the perfect bronzer.

Soap and Glory Solar Powder

For a cheaper option this is one of my favourite bronzers. It's not too dark for my fair skin so it looks super natural. It has just a little bit of a glow thanks to the lighter more shimmery side. I just mix the two sides and it creates the perfect bronze shade.

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer 01

This is the best bronzer for my fair skin in the winter. It's completely matte so it makes you look like you have a really natural, subtle tan.

Top 3 Series: Blush

My Top 3 Series is back! If you missed the first post in the series it was my Top 3 Highlighters. I have a lot of favourite blushes so narrowing it down to only 3 was difficult. I have decided on two high-end and one drugstore so here they are.

Milani Luminoso

 This is a very shimmery baked blush that gives the most beautiful peach glow. And it's drugstore! I love using this on laid back summery days because on my fair skin it works as a blush, a highlighter and it gives my skin a sunkissed glow similar to a bronzer.

Nars Deep Throat

I know Nars Orgasm is the blush everyone talks about but for me but I prefer Nars Deep Throat for a really nice pink shimmery blush. The texture is lovely, not at all chunky (like I find with Orgasm), and it lasts a long time on my skin. Whenever I'm stuck for what blush to wear, I always bring out this guy.

Lancome Aplum

This is my favourite winter blush. It's a matte mauve that gives the most natural blush to your cheeks. The forumula isn't too powdery so it's easy to get the right amount on your brush for application. If you haven't already, I highly suggest you check it out.

Top 3 Series: Highlighters

I love a good highlight so I thought this would be the perfect product to start off my new series. I'll be picking out my Top 3 favourites from different product categories.

Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow

The Bronzer in this palette is gorgeous but it's this highlighter that I find myself reaching for daily. This gives you a very golden glow. The powder is really finely milled so it's shimmery without being glittery. It sits right on the edge of being a natural glow and an obvious highlight.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal

This is the most natural of the highlights listed. It gives you a lit from within glow that is literally breathtaking. I like to apply it with my fingers to the tops of my cheekbones but since it's a liquid highlighter it can also be blended in with your foundation for an all over glow. I just have the small size but I'll definitely be repurchasing the larger bottle once this one runs out.

TheBalm Mary Lou Manizer

This is a popular highlighter for it's intensity and glow. I also love using this as an eyeshadow all over the lid or in my inner corners. This is a true champagne highlighter and it works really well with my fair skin. I will say this isn't a natural highlight so a light hand is needed.
